Driver Vehicle Licensing Agency Contact Number

Driver Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) maintains a database of all drivers in Great Britain and a database of all vehicles within the United Kingdom. They offer a number of services on their website that includes issuing, renewing, replacing driver’s licenses or viewing and sharing your driver’s license information.

They also offer services and information on taxing your vehicle, declaring the vehicle as sold or bought by someone, or letting the DVLA know your vehicle will be taken off the road. Known as SORN (Statutory Off-Road Notification), the notification tells the DVLA that your vehicle will not be used on the road. For instance, you may no longer drive the vehicle for some time, and you decide to store it in a garage. Once the DVLA has been SORN registered, you can no longer drive it on the road and it can only be driven again only when you have re-taxed the vehicle.

If you need to contact DVLA for driver’s licenses and applications, you may call them at 0300 790 6801. This number is used to get information on how to change your address, replacement of your driver’s license, or to apply and track your driver’s license application. For information on SORN or taxing your vehicle, the DVLA contact number is 0300 790 6802.

There are many useful information and resources on the Driver Vehicle Licensing Agency website. As you arrive on the homepage, you can choose from ten links.
